DERMASISWA KASIH

In March 2015, fundraising efforts Dermakasih USM has high impact and "visibility" is better for the USM to generate funds through donations from contributors and stakeholders either from within or outside the country to help poor students of USM.
Since the academic session 2013/2014 USM has taken poor students categorised them as ' bottom billion '. This student is a student who parents have monthly income of RM 1000 and under per month.
As a result from poor students who are classified as students take up the ' bottom billion ', some strategies has been contemplated to help these students further their studies at USM. Fundraising Dermasiswa Kasih USM is important to ensure the implementation and management of programmes, fund-raising assistance to them can be carried out with as soon as possible.
The establishment of this Fund will provide opportunity to seen more of USM students who need assistance can be aided with as soon as possible. For example each semester will distribute funds in the form of one-off contributions, zakat or special assistance such as feeding the poor students organised by USM students representative Council and grant the laptop to a student who is very in need
